Summer School

Five Towns College will host an Open House Saturday, June 9 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Parents and students will have an opportunity to learn about degree and internship programs, see presentations and demonstrations in professional studios, meet with admissions and financial aid representatives and learn about available scholarships.

Summer classes and workshops for high school students will run from July 2 through August 10 and Summer Programs for graduate students will take place from July 2 to August 10. Summer college programs continue now through July 20.

Camps Are Ready

If you have not registered your child for summer camp, you’re cutting it rather close. If you are running out of options and need to know if camps are still considering adding students to their summer rolls, why not call Alphabetland Day School and Camp at 826-9339 or 867-7484.

Celebrating four decades of operations since 1972, Alphabetland employs an in-ground pool, swimming instruction, dance, playgrounds, sports, music, arts and crafts, transportation and extended hours are also available.

Facilities are air conditioned for those especially hot, humid and uncomfortable days we always experience on Long Island. Programs run either four, six or eight weeks with full sessions from 9:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. for a three or five day school week. Summer camp this year runs from June 25 through August 17. Special events take place weekly for pre-schoolers and summer day campers for ages three through seven and eight through twelve for camp for eight, six and four week sessions.
